A lot of steam punk craftsmen like to go way overboard when making their goggles. You see gears and extra lenses everywhere. These are simple yet stylish. The metal frames look to be sanded so they wouldn't be painful to wear, and the leather strap wouldn't catch on hair, but it doesn't look adjustable so they would be hard to wear for extended periods or in variable humidity.

What I would use a set like this for would be as a hat accessory. Many fans of Victorian steam punk or weird west steam punk like to place goggles on their hats rather than upon their faces, but one must admit that it looks good when they do.

Now, about technique. The lenses look perfectly clear with no notable scratches, the leather looks evenly cut and measured. I can't quite tell what that is between the two monocular sections, but it doesn't detract from the rest of the item in any way. The choice of materials is overall rather good. It looks like it took some skill to make.
